Biography: Private funds
John Daghlian is the partner leading the fund formation team in O'Melveny & Myers LLP's London office.
Since joining O'Melveny & Myers LLP as a founding partner of its London office in 2004, John has advised general partners establishing both private and publicly traded funds for investment in various sectors and places including Germany, China, Africa, Latin America, India, the renewable energy sector, buyouts, media, technology and real estate. He also advises investors putting money into private-equity funds, and has advised Coller Capital and Actis on numerous secondary deals and other private-equity teams on the establishment of a number of co-investment and management-incentive schemes.
John was educated at St John's College, Cambridge. He was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of England & Wales in 1991.
