Biography: Corporate Governance

Tim Clark graduated from Cambridge University in 1972. After a period with an investment bank he joined Slaughter and May in 1974, became a partner in 1983, and became senior partner on 1 May 2001.

Tim's practice involves mergers and acquisitions and general corporate finance. He has worked on a substantial number of flotations of companies, takeovers, company and business acquisitions and joint ventures involving participants from a number of jurisdictions, in particular the United States and Europe. He has also worked on a number of significant demutualisation transactions.
