Matthias Bruse is one of the founding partners of P+P Pöllath + Partners. He has practised tax and corporate law since 1984 and was a partner in a leading German law firm from 1990 to 1997, including many years with his present P+P partners.
His practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations and financing, with a special focus on private equity investments.
His publications include speeches and papers on the occasion of the International Bar Association's annual conference, as well as tax conferences of the American Bar Association. He has authored numerous articles and chaired conferences eg M&A Praktikerforum. He graduated from Munich Law School in 1980, obtained a dr juris degree from Bonn Law School in 1985 and a Master of Law degree (LLM) from the University of Miami in 1988.
