His practice focuses on EU competition issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, collaborative and other horizontal and vertical arrangements, energy law (including the practical impact of the EU energy liberalisation legislation) and public procurement law.
David, who speaks English and French, has recently advised on the EU competition aspects of a number of high-profile mergers within Europe and internationally. He has also recently advised on a range of EU competition issues affecting the upstream oil and gas sector and downstream electricity and gas markets.
He advises clients on a wide range of public procurement matters including procurement structuring in relation to specific projects and designing public procurement compliance systems for both basic and strategic purchasing. David is recognised as a leading practitioner in his fields of expertise in all the principal legal directories.
David was educated at the University of Leicester and at the Université Robert Schuman III in Strasbourg. He became a partner of the firm in 1999.
