Biography: Construction

Daniel Brennan concentrates his practice in: advising owners, designers, and contractors on risk management in the construction process; prosecuting and defending construction claims including professional negligence, personal injury, and delay claims; drafting construction and design contracts for architects, engineers, and owners; and advising clients with respect to the design and construction of accessible facilities under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Housing Act.

Mr Brennan is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry (serving on the Steering Committee of Division 12 - Owners & Lenders), the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the American Society of Healthcare Engineering. Mr Brennan is a frequent speaker on construction law and was the editor and author of a book entitled The Construction Contracts Book: How to Find Common Ground in Negotiating Design and Construction Contract Clauses, published in 2004 by the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry.
