Dale has developed particular expertise in the resolution of commercial disputes through litigation, arbitration (domestic and international) and is an advocate of alternative dispute resolution processes.
Dale has conducted arbitration proceedings under various international rules (including the ICC Rules and the European Development Fund Rules) as well as various ad hoc references, and domestic arbitration proceedings in several jurisdictions.
Dale represents major clients in all sectors of the building and construction industry, including owners (both public and private sectors), contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, especially throughout Australia and the Pacific. Dale has advised extensively on major infrastructure projects, rail, bridges and airport projects, sporting stadium redevelopments; health care and port facilities, power stations and mine developments, as well as pipeline projects.
Dale has been acknowledged as a leader in his field and has been listed in a number of leading publications including Chambers Global2011 and Who's Who Legal 2007 - 2010. He has also been voted by his peers as one of Australia's Best Lawyers in Construction/Infrastructure (Australian Legal Business 2009). He was University Medallist of the University of Queensland.
