Biography: Mergers and Acquisitions

Alan Bell is a member of the corporate securities department of Bennett Jones LLP specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and private and public financing. Alan's practice involves acting for public companies, institutional investors and independent committees of directors of public companies. He also advises corporations on the structuring and implementation of corporate governance practices.

Alan has acted on many significant domestic and multi-national mergers and acquisitions transactions.

He is a former member of the securities advisory committee to the Ontario Securities Commission. He has participated in conferences and seminars on securities and corporate law.
