Biography: Mergers and Acquisitions

Jacky Baudon is based in Moscow. He is a French avocat and has been a partner in the corporate practice group since 1994. Jacky has extensive CIS expertise developed over a period of many years. A resident in Moscow since January 1991, he has been involved in projects for major Western and Russian clients, particularly in privatisations, joint ventures, acquisitions and corporate restructurings. His experience covers a broad spectrum of industry sectors including energy and natural resources, telecoms, media, real estate, automotive, aviation, food and drinks, FMCG, and equipment manufacturing.

Jacky regularly advises on corporate governance issues in particular on control over subsidiaries, minority shareholders rights, privatisation risks and on project finance transactions. His work has included advising Alcoa, HP, Danone, Total as well as other foreign and Russian investors on their Russian acquisitions or reorganisations.

Jacky was educated at Nantes Law School and the Fondation Nationale de Sciences Politiques in Paris. He speaks English, French and Russian.
