Soji is a partner and head of energy in LEX Legal Practitioners & Arbitrators - a full service commercial and litigation law firm with one of the largest energy practices in Nigeria.

Over the last 20 years, Soji has advised local and international clients on numerous FDI entries into Nigeria. He continues to advise major, independent and marginal field operators on the legal, regulatory, commercial, fiscal and environmental aspects of upstream acquisitions, divestiture and operations.

Soji is a pioneer environmental lawyer in Nigeria and international consultant to UNDP, UNIDO, state and federal government environmental agencies. He initiated the formation of the Nigerian Environmental Law Society and has been active in the development of a legal, regulatory and policy framework for the sector. He is the chairman of the environment subcommittee of the Nigerian Bar Association, and a member of UKELA.

Soji is an international director and co-chair of the host countries subcommittee of the AIPN, and has previously been active as an officer in the section on energy, environment and natural resources law of the IBA.

Soji is a frequent speaker at domestic and international seminars on energy, natural resources and environment issues. He is listed in the Guide to World's Leading Natural & Natural Resources Lawyers.
