Atsushi Aoki is president of Seiwa Patent & Law. The firm is one of the largest and most prominent intellectual property law firms in Japan and provides clients from around the world with a wide range of professional services.He graduated from Keio University (law department) and obtained an LLM from the National Law Centre of George Washington University. He was admitted as a patent attorney in 1990, and in 2004 was authorised to represent clients in court for specific infringement litigation.
He mainly specialises in trademark prosecution, litigation and domain name, and represents a large number of major domestic and overseas companies with regard to various trademark matters. He is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys' Association, INTA, AIPPI and APAA.
