Angelo Anglani is a partner of the law firm Ughi e Nunziante, practising in the areas of commercial dispute resolution (litigation, national and international arbitration, ADR), contracts, bankruptcy, intellectual property, competition law, product liability and labour law. He leads the disputes resolution department of the firm.
He is particularly experienced in handling cross-border litigation. He assisted various foreign clients (including important foreign governmental institutions) in Italian litigation and regulatory proceedings, and advised clients on Italian law in litigation pending abroad. He is well experienced in litigation for clients in the telecommunications, competition and IP spheres, as well as in product liability cases. He is also active in the area of national and international arbitration, whether under the rules of most accredited institutions or under ad-hoc rules and in the context of court challenges of arbitration awards.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court. He attended the seminar on American law at Columbia University (Leyden, 1994), is a member of the International Bar Association (country chair for Italy in the litigation committee), a member of AIA-Associazione Italiana per l'Arbitrato, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and chairman of Euroadvocaten.
Ughi e Nunziante was formed in 1969. It has offices in Rome and Milan and now comprises more than 80 lawyers. Major areas of practise include corporate work, M&A, corporate finance and stock exchange regulations, project finance, competition law, EC law, administrative law, telecommunications regulations, litigation and arbitration. An important part of the firm's practice consists of representing clients in litigation proceedings before the Italian courts and in matters submitted to arbitration.
