Mr Angland has litigated antitrust and other complex commercial cases for 33 years. His antitrust work has extended to numerous industries, including the alcoholic beverage, automobile, banking, communications, medical equipment, mortgage, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and software industries. He has extensive experience in cases raising issues of monopolisation, predatory pricing, refusals to deal, price fixing, and distribution arrangements. Mr Angland was named one of the 500 leading litigators in the United States.
Mr Angland has also advised clients with respect to antitrust issues relating to joint ventures and mergers, including his representation of Chrysler Corporation in its merger with DaimlerBenz and Novartis in its acquisition of an interest in Alcon. Mr Angland received his JD from Harvard Law School in 1975 and his BS in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1972. He is a member of the Bars of New York and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practise before numerous federal courts.
