Dan Agbor heads Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie's banking and finance, power, private equity and taxation teams. His corporate advisory practice includes mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and derivatives transactions, debt restructuring, debt to equity conversions and fund establishment.

He has advised on a range of matters including Nigeria's earliest global depositary receipt programme, its first independent power project, the establishment of Nigeria's first discount house, Nigeria's first Eurobond transaction and the structuring of an international debt fund that is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He has also assisted a power sector regulator with the drafting of captive power regulations for that sector.

He was part of the team that advised the Joint Lead Managers in connection with the issue of US$500 million, the Notes under a US$2 billion Global Medium Term Notes Programme established by GTB Finance BV and unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

He was also part of the team that advised Tiger Brands South Africa, one of the largest fast moving consumer goods companies in Africa, in connection with its acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Deli Foods Nigeria Limited, a Nigerian company primarily engaged in the manufacture of biscuits. He also advises various companies operating in the Nigeria oil industry including one of the largest international offshore drilling companies and one of the largest international construction companies, in connection with various compliance and restructuring issues arising from the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010.
