George has represented clients in numerous provincial and federal court proceedings and judicial inquiries. Clients include private sector clients, the Canadian Competition Bureau, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission and the attorney general of Canada. George has also frequently testified before the House of Commons and Senate committees.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, George was head of the Canadian Competition Bureau's mergers branch from 1989 to 1993 when he was appointed head of the Bureau. In 1996 he left public service to become executive vice president and chief general counsel with TELUS Inc, Canada's second-largest telecommunications company.
