He has defended antitrust cases on behalf of General Motors Corporation; Ford Motor Company; NewsCorp; Eastman Kodak Company; Carnation Company; Dresser Industries; Pitney Bowes; Bell & Howell; International Paper; Hart, Schaffner & Marx; Sears Roebuck; PPG; Witco Chemical Company; and the United States Golf Association. In plaintiffs' antitrust litigation, he has represented Bell & Howell Company against Eastman Kodak, Citicorp against Western Union, and Dairy Queen Operators' Association against International Dairy Queen.
He has represented numerous major franchisers in franchising litigation and counselling, including Burger King, Shell Oil, Taco Bell, Computerland, ReMax, Perkins Restaurants, and Friendly's Ice Cream. He has represented franchisees and franchisee associations, including Dairy Queen Operators Association, the Pizza Hut franchisee association, the Midas franchisee association, the Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust, and the Nutri-System franchisee association.
Mr Abrams has represented clients in major commercial litigation in federal and state courts throughout the United States.

Mr Abrams concentrates his practice on antitrust, franchising and commercial litigation. His antitrust representations have included counselling and defending some of the world's largest companies. He has also represented the plaintiff's side in major antitrust litigation. Lee's antitrust experience extends to counselling on mergers, distribution questions, Justice Department, FTC and state attorneys general investigations and other antitrust issues.
Lee's franchising litigation and counselling experience has involved work for numerous major franchisors, franchisees and franchisee associations. He has also litigated major commercial cases, including significant intellectual property cases, in federal and state courts throughout the United States.
Notable engagements include providing antitrust litigation defence and counselling to such clients as General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company, NewsCorp, Eastman Kodak Company, Carnation Company, Pitney Bowes, Bell & Howell, International Paper, Hart, Schaffner & Marx, Sears Roebuck, PPG and the United States Golf Association.
Mr Abrams has also served as antitrust counsel to major plaintiffs, including Bell & Howell Company (against Eastman Kodak), Citicorp (against Western Union) and Dairy Queen Franchisee Association (against International Dairy Queen).
Mr Abrams received his AB from the University of Michigan in 1955 and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, with highest distinction, in 1957. Mr Abrams is also a certified public accountant and received the highest grade in the United States on the Uniform CPA examination.
