Our research has revealed 555 patent law experts in 54 jurisdictions who can truly be considered leaders in the field.
Unlike many other sectors, the patent market has demonstrated its resilience in the face of the global recession. This can largely be put down to the nature and importance of patents themselves in protecting clients’ market share.
In this chapter we identify 33 leading practitioners from 21 firms. A number are based in Silicon Valley and Irvine - areas well known for their links to high-tech industry. We have focused our research on patent litigators.
Our research into the world's leading patent attorneys finds 391 practitioners in 52 jurisdictions with the technical expertise and business savvy needed to succeed in a field increasingly characterised by complex, multi-jurisdictional suits and multi-lingual client-partner coordination. We found three firms that lead the field for patent work: unsurprisingly they enjoy a strong presence in numerous international jurisdictions.
The research for this chapter has identified 31 leading practitioners in Texas from 18 firms.
In this chapter we highlight nine leading practitioners from as many firms in Argentina. They are experts in dealing with patent issues. Owing to the broad nature of many IP practices in Argentina, a number of the individuals who feature in this chapter also appear in the trademarks section.
