Matthias Scholz chairs the European steering committee of the firm’s IT/C practice and ranks highly in the corresponding chapter. The focus of his practice is domestic and international communications, IP and media law as they relate to IT contracts, e-commerce, outsourcing and data privacy for clients.
In the life sciences field, Thilo Raepple is a “highly regarded regulatory expert” and “prominent in the field” as counsel for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
Former managing partner of Baker & McKenzie Germany, Günther Heckelmann is a “big name” in the management labour and employment field. He has “great expertise and is a great negotiator”. He acts for major companies in restructurings and is considered “one of the best”.
Head of M&A in Germany, Florian Kaestle specialises in private equity, restructuring and corporate law. He has nearly 20 years experience representing clients on sales, purchases and strategic alliances. Trade and customs lawyer Nicole Looks is a leading practitioner in the area of tax and duties, and heads the indirect tax practice and co-heads the general tax practice in Germany.
