Roy Heenan OC, our management labour and employment lawyer of the year 2011, is chairman of the firm and a “pre-eminent” figure with an international presence. Brian Burkett is a “distinguished” lawyer with experience in collective bargaining, human rights and wrongful dismissal complaints. In addition, he offers strategic advice to employers and employer organisations. Danny Kaufer is a “talented arbitrator” and has been involved in many high profile certification matters.

The firm’s IP practice is also represented. Jonathan Stainsby, who is listed in the life sciences and patents chapters, is head of the firm’s intellectual property litigation team and has acted in a vast array of patent disputes in numerous sectors from pharmaceutical to mechanical.
