Chemical manufacturer announces GC appointment
The Georgia Gulf Corporation has appointed Timothy Mann Jr as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Prior to this appointment he was a partner at international firm Jones Day.
Mann’s experience combines legal practice with business leadership. The legal aspect focuses on public and private merger and acquisition and corporate governance, including executive compensation and corporate counselling.
His previous general counsel experience includes serving as CEO and board member of a NASDAQ-listed business services company and interim general counsel for two New York Stock Exchange-listed manufacturing companies.
“We are pleased to add Tim’s expertise and steady counsel to our leadership team,” said Paul Carrico, president and chief executive officer of Georgia Gulf. “Tim knows our company well, having served as an outside counsel and interim general counsel, and his strong understanding of our business issues will be an important asset as we move forward.”
Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Georgia Gulf Corporation is a leading North American manufacturer of the chemical products, chlorovinyls and aromatics, and manufactures vinyl-based building and home improvement products.
