Air and water specialist joins Baker Botts’ environment department
Baker Botts LLP has welcomed leading environment lawyer Molly Cagle as a partner in its Austin, Texas office. She joins from Vinson & Elkins LLP.
Cagle has a wealth of experience advising clients in high-profile lawsuits involving power plant discharges, water rights disputes between states, and legislation in Texas affecting water laws.
Working within Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act rules, Cagle handles a variety of cases, including air and hazardous waste permitting for boilers, incinerators, furnaces and underground injection control wells
In the state and federal arena she assists clients in rulemaking petitions, preparing comments on agency rules and challenging environmental legislation.
