Astrea law firm welcomes top IT lawyer in Belgium
Steven De Schrijver has joined Astrea in Brussels along with a team of three associates.

He joins from Lorenz where he headed the corporate and IT & new media departments. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at the law firm Van Bael & Bellis.
With over 20 years in legal practice, De Schrijver has experience advising Belgian and foreign companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and private equity.
He is also recognised as a leading commercial IT lawyer in Belgium, specialising in new technologies such as technology transfer, digital signature, IT-outsourcing and cloud computing.
Philippe Van den Broecke, head of the corporate department at Astrea said that the firm intends to further expand the Brussels office in the near future and that De Schrijver’s appointment brings “international business transactions and a wealth of international contacts” to the firm.
