International energy specialist joins Greenberg Traurig in Mexico
Greenberg Traurig LLP has welcomed Nicolas Borda Barrero as a shareholder in the global energy and infrastructure practice based in Mexico.
He arrives with a team of energy specialists from the firm Borda y Quintana which he founded in 1997.
With over 15 years of experience and admission to practice in both Mexico and New York, Borda Barrero has led major international energy transactions including serving as advisor to the Ministry of Energy for the privatisation of petrochemical plants of Pemex-Petroquímica.
At Greenberg Traurig, Borda will continue to focus on transactions relating to energy and natural resources, as well as infrastructure projects in the oil and gas, alternative energy and power industries.
