Who’s Who Legal Country Awards 2011
We are pleased to reveal the 2011 Country Awards identifying the leading law firms in 58 jurisdictions. In judging these awards we have studied the nominations made by thousands of clients and fellow professionals. The winning firms received the most lawyers nominated for inclusion overall: the practitioners are leaders in their practice areas and their collective achievements allow their firms to stand out as national leaders.
A number of firms gain awards for the fifth or even sixth year running, while others take the award for the first time. One first time winner is Sidley Austin LLP who scoop the US award for the first time – a well deserved reflection of the firm’s reputation for high-quality work. Hengeler Mueller wins the German award for a sixth time, as does Lenz & Staehelin in Switzerland; Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP wins the England award for the third year in a row; Blake Cassels & Graydon LLP in Canada also takes the award for the third year running.
