Dewey & LeBoeuf expands Italian antitrust practice
Rino Caiazzo has joined the Rome office of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP as a partner and leader of its newly formed Italian antitrust practice group.
He joins from Ughi e Nunziante Studio Legale where he practised for 20 years, originally joining as a corporate lawyer before establishing the antitrust practice 15 years ago.
Caiazzo has an extensive background in competition, energy, telecommunications, corporate transactional, EU and finance law. He was vice chairman of the committee for competition and international trade for the International Bar Association (IBA) and honorary chairman of the LSE Italian Alumni Association.
Commenting on his new firm, Caiazzo said, “I have worked with them in the past and always been impressed by the firm’s professionalism and enthusiasm, so when the offer came I was delighted to accept it. I look forward to building a strong antitrust practice.”
