Shadbolt partners expand global reach
Effective 1 February 2010, the London-based construction and infrastructure projects and dispute teams at Shadbolt LLP, as well as the firm’s Paris office and UK corporate practice, joined forces with international firm Clyde & Co LLP.

The combination follows Clyde & Co’s recent expansion in the US, Riyadh and a strategic alliance with ALMT in India.
The team of eight Shadbolt partners joining Clyde & Co’s construction team together advise on all aspects of construction disputes, including international arbitration, infrastructure projects in the energy, transport and social infrastructure sectors as well as international project finance.
Among the partners joining in Paris is David Brown. He specialises in contentious and non-contentious construction work for leading French construction and industrial groups and international arbitration as both counsel and arbitrator. He features in the International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers.
Subsequent to this agreement, several Shadbolt lawyers have now continued to pursue their careers with other UK-oriented law firms.
Simon Delves, a former partner in the construction and engineering team at Shadbolt joined London-based firm Beale and Company this month. Delves, who is also a chartered civil engineer, advises clients in a wide variety of building, construction and engineering projects both nationally and internationally.
He has expertise in dispute resolution including litigation, international and domestic arbitration, adjudication and other alternative dispute resolution procedures.
He also features in the International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers.
