Wiwen-Nilsson launches independent arbitration practice
After 35 years at Mannheimer Swartling, including 34 as a partner, Tore Wiwen-Nilsson has left the firm to set up his own practice as an independent arbitrator and adviser.

His new practice, based in Lund, Sweden, will focus mainly on nuclear energy law and arbitration.
Wiwen-Nilsson has extensive experience in international transactions, including construction projects, foreign direct investments, industrial alliances, cross-border licensing and technology transfers, business acquisitions and project finance.
His biggest cases include acting as lead counsel for the Swedish government on the Oresund Link bridge infrastructure project and the Arlandabanan railway project.
Highly experienced in nuclear and energy law, Wiwen-Nilsson has acted as lead counsel on behalf of Sydkraft AB – the second-largest energy company in Sweden (now E.ON Sverige AB) – in relation to the forced closure of the two nuclear reactors at the Barsebäck site. He was previously general counsel at the nuclear reactor designer and supplier Asea-Atom AB.
