Vermulst Verhaeghe appoints competition specialists in Brussels
Brussels boutique Vermulst Verhaeghe Graafsma & Bronckers has welcomed Yves Van Gerven as a partner.
He arrives from the Brussels office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP.
Van Gerven is an EU and Belgian competition and regulatory law practitioner with expertise in commercial, contract and tort matters.
He joins the firm with competition partner Anne Vallery, also from WilmerHale, taking Vermulst Verhaeghe’s partner count to six, with three specialising in competition.
Van Gerven says: “We were attracted to the firm because it will allow us to continue to deliver high-quality service to clients, while at the same time to handle matters in a very flexible environment.”
