Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP makes executive lateral hires
Merger and acquisition experts Richard Climan and Keith Flaum have joined the Silicon Valley office of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP as partners.
They join the global law firm from Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, together with technology lawyer Eric Reifschneider.
Climan, who was formerly firm-wide head of Cooley’s M&A practice and a member of the firm’s management committee, will also be part of Dewey’s executive committee leading the expansion of the firm’s global M&A practice.
Climan focuses on a wide range of industries, including technology and life sciences and has handled significant mergers in the software, semiconductor equipment, biotechnology and medical devices sectors.

Flaum who is a highly experienced negotiator and adviser represents both public and private companies in a wide range of industries, including the information technology and life sciences industries. He has particular expertise in handling global acquisitions of publicly traded companies and in cross-border acquisition transactions.
Both lawyers lecture frequently on M&A topics and appear in The International Who’s Who of Mergers & Acquisition Lawyers and The International Who’s Who of Corporate Governance Lawyers.
