Real estate in Brazil has seen a startling amount of growth over the past year, resulting in a property boom. Despite this, there remains a severe shortage of affordable housing. The president’s programme “Minha Casa, Minha Vida,” or “My House, My Life,” has yet to alleviate the problem and produce the results it set out to achieve.
