Brazil: Management Labour & Employment

At a time when the Brazilian labour market is experiencing record lows in levels of unemployment, lawyers in this sector are needed for their counsel in relation to a wide spectrum of labour and employment matters. We pick out 12 of the leading lawyers in this field.

Veirano Advogados has an “exceptional” four listings in this chapter a testament to its strong labour and employment practice. Luiz Guilherme Migliora one of the heads of the practice, is an “excellent litigator” with experience handling highly complex matters on behalf of defendants. Eduardo Soto Pires has experience covering a wide variety of labour matters, from compensation policies for senior personnel and executives to corporate pension plans. He complements this experience with “persuasive” litigation skills. Maria Luisa Soter is considered an “asset” by her clients: she represents Brazilian and multinational companies and is a former judge of the Appellate Labour Court.
