Roschier is once again the leading firm in Finland in our research, with more nominated lawyers than any other firm in the country. With eight further listings in Sweden, Roschier sees its lawyers listed 28 times overall across 16 practice areas.

The firm excels in our M&A research with four lawyers selected for inclusion. In Finland, managing partner Ulf-Henrik Kull is extremely well known, and is listed alongside Jon Unnérus. The Stockholm office is home to the “highly impressive” Jens Bengtsson, and Axel Calissendorff is also very highly regarded for both his transactional and governance expertise. The firm’s tax practice in Finland is also extremely highly rated and has three nominees selected, with Vesa Rasinaho in particular deemed “outstanding” by our sources and Gunnar Westerlund also picked out for his banking work.

Three further lawyers are selected in the real estate chapter. Mika Alanko combines an appearance in this chapter with another in the environment section, while Kaj Swanljung is the most highly nominated real estate specialist in Finland and was commended to researchers as “very skilful”. He was also picked out for his labour and employment work, where he appears alongside the “insightful and effective” Eva Nordman-Rajaharju.

Two further nominees appear in our internet and e-commerce chapter, and Christian Wik leads the competition research in Finland. He is widely regarded as “one of the leading experts in the field in northern Europe”.

Claes Lundblad in Stockholm is selected for his “brilliant disputes work”, encompassing litigation, arbitration and product liability expertise, while Rainer Hilli in Helsinki was similarly picked out for his “market leading” IP practice across three chapters.
