Capital markets emerges as Shearman’s strongest suit, with 11 of its lawyers ranking highly in the corresponding chapter. David Beveridge heads the capital markets – Americas team out of the firm’s New York headquarters and is considered “a must for inclusion” by peers who recognise his recent work on behalf of Orion Cable, Texas Pacific Group and Apax Partners as “first-rate”.
