What is the Who's Who Legal 70?
Following the inclusion of Norton Rose Australia in 2010 and the merger with Ogilvy Renault and Deneys Reitz as of 1 June 2011 the firm will boast 2,500 lawyers in 38 offices globally, making it one of the largest firms in the world. Currently, lawyers from the firm are listed 63 times in this publication, across 25 practice areas.
The aviation practice group is “outstanding”. Ten nominees are listed from four jurisdictions. Project finance is another of Norton Rose’s strengths, and five partners are selected in the corresponding chapter. Lawyers appear from the London, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Singapore offices. In London, the “tremendous” Jeffery Barratt heads the global projects group while Dominic Harvey in Abu Dhabi leads the project finance practice for the Middle East region and is also listed in the public procurement chapter.
