World-Check appoints general counsel

Leading risk assessment provider, World-Check, has appointed Jonathan Beak as its new general counsel.

Beak has 19 years of corporate and commercial experience as a senior lawyer and manager of legal and compliance teams. Prior to joining World-Check, Beak was general counsel of EMR Europe Insurance Services.
World-Check provides a global database of heightened-risk individuals and businesses to more than 2,500 institutions including financial and government agencies.
